Yes, dogs can eat mango.
Mangos are high in fiber, proteins, and minerals and contain antioxidants such as beta-carotene which can eradicate free radicals.
It also csontain vitamins B (including folate), B6, C, and E, as well as vitamin A, an essential nutrient for dogs that influences their reproduction, growth, skin, and coat.
Furthermore, mangoes can help with an upset tummy in small amount and they can help alleviate diarrhea and constipation.
However, avoid giving the skin to dogs as they contains a chemical called urushiol.
This chemical can cause irritation and inflammation of the skin and mucous membranes in dogs, leading to symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, and difficulty breathing.
In addition, the large, hard pit of the mango can be a choking hazard or cause an intestinal blockage if ingested by a dog.
It is best to avoid feeding your dog mango, or any other fruit that contains urushiol.
